Job Overview:
Importation Specialist is:
1‐ The link between the company and regulatory authorities to ensure that the products
meet the authority requirements.
2‐ Ensure the performance of supply chain is meeting the annual forecast plans of shipments
for each SKU to making products stocks available for sale.
3‐ Track Inventory & sales orders as well as the market needs.
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor’s degree of Pharmacy, Science, Vet, Medicine or Dentistry
Experience: Fresh Graduates
Responsibilities:
Issuing & update Importer’s registry of the company
Issuing Importation approvals & plans
Issuing custom exemption letter
Issue conditional medical custom release for each shipment
Issuing printing order before shipment arrival to warehouse
Preparing inspection file
Preparing analysis file for each SKU
Doing forecast plans for each SKU & ensure updating it every week.
Issuing purchase orders according to the agreed forecast between POSIE & vendor within
lead time for each SKU.
Review & revise all shipping documents to be equivalent to the agreed forecast plan,
Purchase order issued from POSIE, Regulatory requirements, bank requirements &
customs requirements.
Issue LC Request.
Follow up with clearing agent on upcoming shipments.
Follow up with sales co‐ordinator on sales orders & tenders.
Issue stock report monthly with expiry dates for each SKU
Issue analysis report for each SKU clarifies the stock & sales status at the end of each
month.
Authority and communication:
Regulatory affairs specialist for all vendors
Supply chain Specialists for all vendors
Communication with Egyptian Drug Authority
Communication with other departments.
Communication with assigned vendors in all related supply chain and regulatory affairs
process.
Communication with related distributors.
Communication with the custom clearance agent (Target) company
