Job Overview
The Information Security Engineer is responsible for supervising, analyzing, and designing security measures to protect the company’s assets. The role includes monitoring networks, defining access privileges, managing security policies, and evaluating security solutions. The position reports to the IT Governance & Security Manager and falls under the ICT department.
Duties:
- Define and manage roles and access privileges for network users.
- Monitor network and system security for breaches or intrusions.
- Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
- Provide recommendations for securing company assets.
- Review and design security policies that align with business needs.
- Evaluate and select security products and contracts.
Tasks:
- Perform general services health checks.
- Configure security systems as needed.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly security reports.
- Develop and confirm future security plans.
- Revise and maintain security policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of security policies.
- Ensure the security of network infrastructure and data.
- Oversee compliance with security regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Computer Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in information security.
- Knowledge of networking, operating systems, firewalls, and security assessment.
- Familiarity with Cisco, SAP User, and security tools.
- Good to excellent proficiency in English and Microsoft Office.
