Job overview:

District Sales Manager will lead and manage territory with a team of medical sales representatives to achieve sales targets and promote medical products

Qualifications :

Education Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Veterinary, Medicine, Dentistry, or Biological Sciences (preferred).

      Experience: relevant job experience is preferred.

   Description of the responsibilities of District Sales Manager:

  1. Team Formation and Planning: Responsible for selection and leading sales team, setting annual plans and target for its territory, their distribution across areas, training plans, and evaluation to improve performance.
  2. Team couching and development: lead, develop, motivate medical sales team
  3. Annual Sales Plan: Develop the annual sales plan for each area and propose costs for sales activities to achieve the highest profit for the company.
  4. Strategic Solutions: Assist the marketing department in developing strategic solutions for drugs of special importance to the company.
  5. Customer Complaints: Follow up on and identify customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and work to prevent future issues.
  6. Sales Campaigns: Manage sales and promotional campaigns and monitor sales rates for each campaign.
  7. Distributor Collaboration: Monitor the work of distributors and collaborate with them to find the best ways to serve customers and increase sales.
  8. Performance Reports: Review daily sales and performance reports from the sales team and develop corrective action plans.
  9. Inventory Management: Monitor daily inventory levels and coordinate with the production department to address any stock shortages.
  10. Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, pharmacists, and doctors.
  1. Sales Monitoring: Track product sales rates from distributors and their relationship to inventory levels to ensure product sales to distributors.

  1. Decision-Making: Empowered to make decisions regarding sales strategies, team management, and client relationships.
  2. Budget Management: Responsible for managing the sales budget and allocating resources effectively.
  3. Hiring and Training: Authority to hire new sales representatives and oversee their training and development.
  4. Performance Evaluation: Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to the sales team.
  5. Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any conflicts within the team or with clients.

Communication:

  1. Internal Communication: Regularly communicate with the sales team to provide updates, set goals, and offer support.
  2. Client Interaction: Maintain open lines of communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Reporting: Report to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and team progress.
  4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing, finance, and product development to align strategies and achieve common goals.
