We are seeking a Patient Educator to support and guide patients in making healthier lifestyle choices. This role involves developing and implementing educational materials, assisting in patient compliance, and translating medical information into understandable concepts for patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve patient education materials.
- Educate patients on managing their health conditions and treatment plans.
- Assist patients and their families in coping with health conditions.
- Ensure patient compliance with prescribed treatments and medication regimens.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct health screenings and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Train other healthcare professionals and community health workers.
- Maintain strict compliance with data privacy laws and ethical guidelines regarding patient information.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant medical or healthcare field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in patient education, healthcare training, or related roles is a plus.
- Ability to simplify medical concepts for patient understanding.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and ethical guidelines in patient care.
