Celebrating a New Beginning with “Try to Fly”

PharmaOverseas for pharmaceutical trade and distribution celebrated around 60 students from the children of its employees who graduated from high school in 2026 during its annual graduation ceremony held under the inspiring theme “Try to Fly”.

The celebration brought together students, their families and PharmaOverseas’ leadership to recognize an important milestone in the students’ journey and encourage them as they take their first steps into a new chapter filled with opportunities.

As one of Egypt’s leading pharmaceutical distribution companies, PharmaOverseas believes that its people are at the heart of its success. Its relationship with employees extends beyond the workplace to include their families and children, who are an integral part of the wider PharmaOverseas community.

More Than a Graduation Celebration

The “Try to Fly” theme captured the spirit of the celebration and the message PharmaOverseas wanted to share with the graduates: every journey starts with a first attempt.

Through the event, PharmaOverseas encouraged the graduates to explore, try, learn and keep moving forward understanding that every experience, whether successful or challenging can become part of the journey toward achieving their ambitions.

Rather than focusing only on the destination, the celebration highlighted the importance of having the courage to take the first step and discover what comes next.

Bringing Employees and Their Families Together

The ceremony was attended by several PharmaOverseas leaders, including Dr. Azza Mameish, Board member and Dr. Mohamed Gazzarine, CEO alongside employees, their families and the graduating students.

The event reflected PharmaOverseas’ belief that its employees’ achievements are closely connected to the support of their families, recognizing the parents who have played an essential role throughout their children’s educational journey.

Investing in Young Talent and Continuous Learning

In his speech Dr. Sameh Hemam, Head of Human Resources, emphasized the importance of young people as a vital part of Egypt’s future, highlighting PharmaOverseas’ continued commitment to supporting young talent and creating opportunities for learning and development.

This commitment extends beyond the annual celebration with the company continuing to invest in young talent through summer internship programs, training opportunities and learning and development initiatives designed to help young people build practical skills and gain exposure to the professional world.

Every Success Starts with a Try

“We believe that every success starts with a try. With every experience, we learn and gain something that takes us one step closer to our goals.”
— Dr. Sherif Raafat, Training and Development Manager at PharmaOverseas

Posla Academy, one of PharmaOverseas’ sister companies specializing in training programs and diplomas related to the pharmaceutical and medical sectors, also participated in the celebration through a range of interactive activities.

The activities combined learning and entertainment while encouraging students to collaborate, think creatively, and make the most of the resources and opportunities available to them.
